Please comment on my play in this hand. When the villian is willing to cap the turn, should I just call the river bet?

Some of the time, you'll run into 44 (very rarely). A good portion of the time, you'll run into another queen. Most of the time, however, you'll run into a single four -- at least often enough to cap on all streets, I think.

I think you should cap the river. The only thing that beats you is 44. It is much more likely you will split it or win against someone with a 4. From what I've seen low-limit players often overvalue their hands when the board is double paired, they might not even consider that anyone that holds a Q beats their 4. I see the same thing when they hold the low end of a straight.

True. Perhaps I call the 3-bet rather than capping, but I'm not really sure; given the turn action, it looks like someone slowplaying his 4 that ran into a bigger hand.
