Incidentally, I've been drinking quite a few of these recently. Nice and sharp, a bit cinamon-y, strong but not overpowering. An excellent shot. When I've had it though, they have been made with Goldshlager instead of Rumple...come to think of it, I have no idea what Rumple is.

BTW, a mixed drink of some sort is a much better pairing than beer.

when i read cinamonny i figured they subbed goldschlager or aftershock for the rumple or the 151, i've seen both variants, i think the one i referenced is the pure one. i don't like cinammon in it because it dominates the flavor. as i described it you basically get jager with a mint highlight and a strong alcohol burn. any of the cinammon ones taste like "hard cinammon" to me.

meh, schlager/rumple/jeager works, as does adding aftershock to the three. I had an atrocious experience with 151 on my 21st, and as such am not too keen on trying your variant. It might happen anyway, though.

My car bomb recipe (I think it's the same for everyone) is to draw a pint of Guiness and drink 1/4 of it. Then drop a shot glass filled with half Bailey's, half Jameson's into the glass and chug it.

Far as I'm concerned, a shooter just means a drink that's meant to be drunk all at once. So a car bomb might be a super-manly shooter, but I still think it qualifies as a shot.

Had six of these in one night once and ended up putting my face (yes, face) through a window... good times...

I love jager, but I think I only love it so much because so many people hate it. On friends twenty first bithdays I would always make them do a shot of warm Jager.

Ouzo is some powerful stuff. Put me well on the way to some great nights the two times I was in Crete. There is a similar drink in Turkey that I had but I forget the name of it.
