Should I have smooth called with QQ?

I was pretty sure that I was best, but I now wonder whether it would have been smarter to smooth call; giving me a chance to fold with plenty of chips if an overcard fell...What's your opinion?

No, you were right to push in. I believe someone else the other day mentioned this, if you smooth call you've made your QQ/KK just like 72o, afraid of any overcards. He hit a 1 in 3 chance to beat you, you got your chips in with the best of it, that's just how it goes.

By the way, I don't like villian's play here, not with AJ, 7 players left, 3rd short stack. I would have raised all-in myself, or folded after the mini-raise --&gt; over the top all-in.

I completely agree. What are these guys thinking with this mini-raise stuff? He trying to trap the 4 players left to act with AJ????
