I would like to give TruePoker management and support favorable mention here on 2+2.

I requested a small cashout and wished to have it sent fedex at my expense. Truepoker extended me this courtesy and went the distance to cover all the fees themselves!

TP made my day!

If your looking for a site that takes care of their players, play truepoker!

disclaimer - I am in now way affiliated with TP. If I have had a bad experience here or anywhere I wouldn't hesitate to post that either, but it's all been great there.

Do they have games around the clock there?

I like TP as well, the software is wicked. Too bad they don't have any micro limit games though.

I heard True was pushing NL, MTT's and that you could now play more than one table at a time. Anyone play there that is willing to give a current review of the site?

This is the most recent review I could find.

I like True poker's software. They have a couple of hundred players in the "play money section" every night. The "live" section has about three games. A $1-2 HE,$2-4 HE or $3-6 HE and then $5-10 HE or $10-20 HE. I have mostly played in the $10-20 game but have played the lower games too. The games are soft. In the upper game you have a player who yaks alot, but plays almost every hand.

The software has a couple of features I like. The chat appears over a player's head and in the chat box, which is floating and can be sized.

They have a large selection of characters to choose from. Even thou I'm not a big fan of sounds, the different voices for each is pretty cool.

It seems that they will continue to have promotions. I like poker rooms that give away money that is easy to get. This $50 was a breeze.

I still haven't decided what I think about the "look at your holecards" feature. You do pick up tells on some players, but if they did not have this the speed would be on par with Paradise.

It's pretty easy to find players around the site.

I'm planning to stick with them for awhile to see if the player base will pick up to the point that there is always at least one large game.

Standard disclaimer:

I'm not in any way associated with TruePoker or any other poker site. If I was, I would push for more reasonable rakes found in most card rooms across the country except CA

They blew me off when I made my first deposit on there and asked for my first deposit bonus. They gave me some bull [censored] excuse like an account had been set up on my computer already blah blah blah. Maybe I played play money on their site a couple years ago screwing around and checking it out, but that shouldn't mean I don't get a first deposit bonus when I open a real money account for the first time. Besides that, I had to send them about a dozen emails for them to give me any semblance of an explanation, and it was pretty much that they didn't care. Very umimpressed, so I took out all my money and haven't played there since. Support sucked imo, but that was my experience. Glad you're happy with them granny, but I've had exceptional service at many other poker sites, True Poker is not one of them.

I will write another review when I clear the bonus, but below is my notes after an hour:

I returned to TruePoker to bonuswhore the 30%($150 max)reload bonus. Played exactly one hour playing two games. A $200 max buyin ring NLH which seemed a little loose ag, and a $50 max buyin 6-player max NLH which was tight med ag. You must play 100 hands to clear $10 of the bonus. I got 49 hands. About a $5/hr bonus. I don't ever see having more than two games up here. I still hate the point of view that makes the bet stacks farthest from you much smaller, to the point of making errors on whether someone is in or not. It seems that the software has been speeded up by separting the realtime actions of the client from the game server? Example, the bubble hint will show a players action first then a moment later the player charachter will push his chips forward. This makes it easy to confuse actions from the 3-5 seats. You will see the bet amount in about the 3-4 seat appear then the five seat push chips forward when actually it was only the five seat making the action. I think they have a $3 red and white chip($4 BB is a red&white chip and a single white chip. Easy to confuse with the $5 solid red chip at first.

I have a high speed cable connection and I had about 6-8 lag issues during the hour. I was folded or allined. They have a single allin per 24 hours, but the host(friendly, helpful and promt) reset my allin quickly. I had one game window freeze where the game window needed to be closed then reopened after the freeze. I did have PP, Empire and PT open at the same time.

From what I understand HH requests are 10 hands at a time and the site is not PT supported.

Clicking on a player brings up the note feature, which forces you to use one of their preprogramed general notes(fish, bluffer, ect or your own that is 4 or more charachters) combined with your comments. It's a left click so it comes up alot by accident when switching between windows.

I'm sure after 30 hours, the time need to clear the bonus at my level, I will get use to the client interface again. I don't see why they don't give the player the option to have an interface that is similar to the industry standard.

p.s. Lori, I also have another review that isn't three years old that you missed. You're slipping darling.
