What does a no-bid Pentagon awarded contract have to do with President Bush exactly?

Cheney is no longer afilliated with Haliburton. Have you read the news lately? Plus this investigation was concluded in Febuary.

Clinton gave Halliburton a no bid. Big deal.

It's a week before election time so I have to cautious of all news. In time we will see how this pans out. I don't doubt that Halliburton wasn't acting the way it should. If they had been then people should go to jail. Simple as that. But to say Cheney is the reason Halliburton is messing up is a stretch since they aren't connected anymore.

Factcheck.org... look it up.

You would be cautious of your own shadow if it didn't jive with your view of things.

And your avatar is very fitting by the way. How did you hold the camera?

you think that the fact that cheany was once a high ranking halliburton offical and now halliburton gets billion dollar no bid deals is purely coincidence? yikes, theres really no way to respond to that, i assumed it was common sense that would tell you this.

I was under the impression that Cheney still receives deferred compensation from Halliburton, and still owns stock options. In any case, you would have to live in fantasy land to assume that any potential funny business involving Halliburton didn't have anything to do with Cheney. But it's clear to me that a lot of Bush supporters do in fact live in fantasy land.

You were saying? Get informed with what is going on in the world my friend.

"The vice president, who continues to receive deferred compensation from when he was Halliburton’s chief executive in the late 1990s, has steadfastly maintained he has played no role in the selection of his former company for federal business."
