No reads. If my ace didn't hit on the river, is it check/fold or do I call another bet?

Player has bet into you after each raise. Why are you calling the turn bet? Do you think your A high is good at this point?

I'm getting 7:1 pot odds. 6 outs = 6.7:1 odds needed + implied odds.

6 outs if you assume top pair is going to win the hand. What are you putting your opponent on that you think top pair will beat. He could very easily have 33 or 88. Not having a read on your opponent he could very be playing garbage and have 2 pair.

I think calling the turn is a mistake - you don't have 6 full outs to a guaranteed win.

His AJ or KJ (or Ax/Kx to a middle pair) have you beat if you hit your overcard outs. There is also the risk of a flush (if he bet out mid-top pair w/ a backdoor flush draw) - stop n' go betting pattern might suggest this when the 5s hits, so your As and Ks need to be discounted.

This is a tournamnet - so razor thin calls are risky beacause you may never get your chance to make the $$ back - there is no long run. Save your chips so you can jack up the pot when you're definitely winning.

ps: if the converter's not working - convert it by hand. Make it easy on the rest of us. (probably why you got no replies in the limit forum)

Jx or maybe even 8x. With a set or two pair I think he'd either slowplay or 3-bet the flop, not bet and only call a raise. I don't really understand the leading out on the turn unless that made his two pair. I took a long time before calling that.

Ghost is right on. I would call the flop and check fold the turn. Folding is easy because its early so you are not committed to this hand. This player will lose all his chips playing like that. Ive seen it a million times just let him bluff you and pick a better spot to punish him. Even if you know he is an idiot just remember idiots can get good hands too. Save your chips for the time when you have a legit hand and this guy or someone like him will be the one to call you down the river with a losing hand.
