I've played ring games maybe five times live, and online maybe twenty sessions. I have a basic understanding and am decent at ring games, but I'm lost in the tournament setting.

Limit tourneys- tight early, always be the one raising late. Don't call raises without very strong hands. Raise position and keep coming at them.

For about the 4th wednesday in a row I go to the first break without winnin a single pot. I had KK in a 5 way capped pot. $ of them call me to the river when an A hits and AJ wins it. QQ and a str draw were also out there. Haven't gone past the flop with any other hand yet.

2 hands to play AQs flopped the flush draw and missed, last 100 chips on 99 no good.

Out in 244, got in trouble when a tightish player raised from co-1 (or co), I'm right behind him with AK and reraise. Turns out he had K9s, flop came 9A9 and I lost 5BB on that hand total. Same guy knocked me out 1.5 orbits later when his 66 held against my KQ.

All in all, it was a good tourney, just a bad break when someone on a steal hit a hand that I also hit.

ran into some extremely bad luck today with the horrible player to my right. he chopped my AA with his a7 and then made some ridiculous calls only to river his pair draw and beat me.

last hand i was looking good til the kq and kj rivered their king (after there being betting on every street) after a board of TT2 5...no flush draws of course it was just another case of stupid calls raping me.

My favorite tournament player on party poker (plghh), made another final table. He's the best tournament player on party poker I think. Every tournament he enters, he makes the final table or final 20. He's sickening.

He mostly plays 15/30 and 30/60.
