if I am a 4:1 underdog preflop, what is the probablity that I become at least a 50% fav after the flop?

I assume that it is 20%, is this correct?

This question is entirely card dependent. I don't think there is a simple answer for it.

I don't think so.

I think, first of all, that it would depend on your particular hand. Second, what you really interested in is the EV of you flop. For example, with two suited cards you might flop a hand that (currently) is terrible (in terms of pure hand rankings). But it may be a very valuable hand nonetheless because of the draws.
