Well I'm fed up with losing. I've lost $400 in the past 2 days. Thankfully, it was all profit and I still have $500 of profit bankroll left. I decided to take a break for a few days but first I checked my Party account. They put $15 in there! Yay! A free $15 to play around with.

My challenge is to see how far I can get with that $15. I will play until I have 10x the buy-in for the next level then move up. If I drop to 5x the buy-in I will move down.

Hour 1: Played 2 $5 SNG's at the same time. If I lose these, my challenge is over before it began. I get 1st and 2nd! Up to $43.

i recently went down to about 6$ playing limit /images/graemlins/frown.gif. worked back to 40$ through 2$+.20 20 mans on pacific, and i vowed never to play limit again! ok maybe not, but i have been having much more steady success with sngs.

2 more $5 SNG's. I place 9th and 8th.

9th was when someone decided a gutshot + runner runner flush was good enough to go all in against my flopped straight and yipee, they hit their runner runner flush.

8th I ended up all-in PF with AKo vs AKo vs AQo. 4 diamonds on the board and the other AKo wins with his ace high flush over my king high.

I got my money in with the best of it... just some bad beats.

Same with me. Limit BR down, hit the sng's. Are the 2+.2 20 man sng's terribly easy, or is it just me? I just started last night and am 4 for 5 in the money, nothing under third.

they are terribly easy. theres so many 5+ handed pots even after the blinds have reached 100. people love calling off their stacks in these. just wait for a great hand and position and make a good bet and you will usually get 1 caller plus all the other money thats in there from people limping. im about 80% itm in these and i usually have a chip lead of 2000+ going into the second table.

I love it when PartyPoker funds my account. They gave me $20 and I easily turned it into $200. Then I cashed out again, heh. I don't know - I still prefer the games at PokerStars. Maybe they will give me a little bit more cash after a few months of not playing there?

If you don't mind i'll tag along with your thread. I checked my PP account yesterday (i play live limit) and i still had 26 bucks in it, so i sat down at 2 10$ sng's. I busted out of one real quick, and bought into a 5+1. i Won my other 10+1 and took 2nd in my 5+1.
I have now played a total of 12 sng's-
3 1sts, 1 2nd in a 10, 1 2nd in a 5, and 1 3rd with 6 no places.
BR up to 116$.

nicely done, good luck with the rest of the way.
_____________

as its sort of linked i built my current bankroll of $400 or so from a £8, $14ish buy in. had to cash out everything when i became a student, so now everything i have online is pure profit (i got back my £8 with a profit when i switched from ladbrokes to pokerroom).

the way i started was to play a 10+1 to start, won it, then continued till i got to where i am.

in my last 45 tourneys i have an ROI of 21.21% and an ITM of 37.78%. Which has evened out my run quite a bit and my overall stats fosince i started this are
71 tourneys-
10 3rds
9 2nds
13 1st
with a ROI of 43.41%
and an ITM of 45.1%.
And i still suck.
Thankfully the competition is worse.
