.50/1 on Stars

I pick up Q /images/graemlins/heart.gifQ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif and there are four limpers including UTG+1. I am in the BB and raise it to 3. UTG+1 raises the rest of his 22$ stack. I have him covered. What is your default play?

Call if you want to gamble with AA/KK/AK...although I doubt AK, it may be possible for him to have 10-10 or JJ and making a play with a small stack.

I'd probably fold though, as you don't have a read, and QQ is QQ.

I would consider calling only because it is .50/1 and a lot of people would try this with low pocket pairs. People do it often when they are shortstacked, but if I don't have a read then I would think folding may be the best option.

I call in a heartbeat. at .5/1 NL, people will often do this with low pocket pairs and trash hands. They sometimes just think "he's trying to buy the blinds. I never fold QQ at .5/1 unless i have over $150. Even then, it is hard to fold it online.

Raise more when the action first gets to you. If I understand you correctly there was $5.50 in the pot (including your blind) and you raised only $2. That's not nearly enough to accomplish anything. Pot it or at least make it 5 or 6 bb to go.

As for the situation my cards are in the muck. If I'd ever seen the guy play and he's lag I would call.

Against a puny stack, he/she is surely desperate to quickly double up and my default play is to call here.

He has $22 at the table. If it is heads up, easy call.

Same damn thing happened to me last night. I called and of course he was holding AA. I need to make my default play fold as others suggest.

This is pretty player dependent. I would definitely raise more from the BB, to 7 or so as you dont want everyone to call OOP, which is what most likely would have happened had this guy not moved in. That said, some people on here seem to think that being a short stack is equivalent to being retarded, which is often not the case. If Id seen him play at all loose and fast previously, I would probably call, with no read Im folding.

Made the same play next orbit with 99 and I called with JJ
