Without all the gory details, I manage to get to the round of 8, trying to get into final four and get a decent payday, when:

The OFFICIAL SUNDAY AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORM happens! Raining 2 inches per hour at least, at 50MPH sideways, can't see 100 ft.

And that's when the Poker God turned out the lights for the next 7 hours.

Finished 5th.

Oh, Well.... * Happens. But I did think it was probably the bad beat of the week.
