This is just an expansion on the "Why I love party poker" posts. A hand I found amusing.
PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)
Preflop: Hero is Button with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif.
<font color="666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="CC3333">MP1 raises</font>, <font color="666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 calls.
Flop: (7.50 SB) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
MP1 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP1 calls.
Turn: (4.75 BB) T/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
MP1 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP1 calls.
River: (6.75 BB) 8/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
MP1 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">MP1 raises</font>, <font color="CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, MP1 calls.
Final Pot: 12.75 BB
<font color="green">Main Pot: 12.75 BB, between MP1 and Hero.</font>
<font color="red">MP1 has pocket 8's </font>
Which means, in order for him not to be drawing dead after the turn, he would of had to put me 3-betting pre-flop with a pocket pair less than 7's or overcards not containing an ace.
But it get's better, in order for him to call a big bet on the turn, he's not going to continue with just a 2 outter is he, so he must think he's in the lead which means he puts me 3-betting pre-flop with 87s or less or a pocket pair of 7's or less.
and yet he still has the nerve to check raise me on the river when he hits his trips when any plausible 3-betting preflop hands have him drawing dead..even very very loose combos (AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 99, AK, AQ, AJ, AT....A2s?)
What's this guy thinking?? /images/graemlins/confused.gif
