This is just an expansion on the "Why I love party poker" posts. A hand I found amusing.

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif.
<font color="666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="CC3333">MP1 raises</font>, <font color="666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
MP1 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP1 calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) T/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
MP1 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP1 calls.

River: (6.75 BB) 8/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
MP1 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="CC3333">MP1 raises</font>, <font color="CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 12.75 BB
<font color="green">Main Pot: 12.75 BB, between MP1 and Hero.</font>

<font color="red">MP1 has pocket 8's </font>

Which means, in order for him not to be drawing dead after the turn, he would of had to put me 3-betting pre-flop with a pocket pair less than 7's or overcards not containing an ace.

But it get's better, in order for him to call a big bet on the turn, he's not going to continue with just a 2 outter is he, so he must think he's in the lead which means he puts me 3-betting pre-flop with 87s or less or a pocket pair of 7's or less.

and yet he still has the nerve to check raise me on the river when he hits his trips when any plausible 3-betting preflop hands have him drawing dead..even very very loose combos (AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 99, AK, AQ, AJ, AT....A2s?)

What's this guy thinking?? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I find it amusing that you don't know what site you're playing on.

...which is why I didn't name the post "Why I love PARTY poker" and also said it was an EXPANSION of that post..which means it's not the exact same thing.

You know, I thought about saying "Obviously this didn't happen on party poker somewhere in my post, but I thought even a trained monkey would see that obviously I knew I wasn't playing at party poker, but I guess there are just a few sarcistic jackasses out there, so whatever.

Do you think you could contribute to this forum instead of insulting respected posters? Seriously.

I don't think anyone made any out-of-line comments. If I made such a post I would expect to made fun of too... only I would laugh it off, and not take personal offense. You need to seriously chill.

What are you "uh-ing" about? I didn't typo. I said I didn't name the post "Why I love party poker" which is true because I did in fact name the post "Why I love Inter-poker". To those wondering and to those who can't figure it out, inter-poker stands for internet poker, and poker stars is an internet poker site. So I don't see what you're confused about.

Since you don't know about it.

Figures that with all the poker sites nowadays there is one named "inter-poker" I apologize for the confusion. I meant internet poker.

The guy made an intended smart ass comment that was not only blatantly wrong, but also insulting as it was a shot at my intelligence. I don't care if he's a "respected" poster. He made a snide, smart-ass sarcastic comment, so I responded with the like.

You're the only one that was out of line in this topic.
