this is in response to all of the posts generated from stu's original post.

it is a simple question: how much does one need to play the different levels of stud at paradise?

in other words, what do i need to start with for a bankroll at 2-4? then, how big does my roll have to be before i can move up through the next levels? i have tried this before and just not had the discipline, but i would like to try again, so i need some advice from those who have actually moved through the levels like stu.

best,

jason

How's this sound? Deposit $300 and play $.50-1.00 for 1000 hours. Boring yes, but if you're good enough to beat the game you will have $2000-$3000 at the end. Plenty enough to handle the swings in the $2-4 and the $4-8. Also the 1000 hours in the $.50-1.00 will give you time to build patience and discipline at minimal cost.

this is about what i figured.

also, i figured if you could grind it out at that low of a limit, you would have the patience for just about anything.

so at what point do 5/10 and 10/20 become conceivable?

thanks,

jason

If your talkin' paradise then it's $6-12 then $10-20. As for the bankroll, it should be at least 300 big bets. $3600 for $6-12 and $6000 for $10-20. I'm not saying you have to keep that much in your account, just have it available.
