Mickey Mantle's Restaurant renamed for the World Series

The owner of Mickey Mantle's Restaurant in New York City, Bill Liederman, decided to temporarily rename it "Ted Williams' Restaurant" for the duration of the World Series. Seriously. Did the guy really think this would go over well in New York City?
