I'm not sure I like the min raise. I'm either going to try and trap by calling here and putting in a raise on the turn or play it safe make it at least $1.

That was a bad reraise on your part. You should have just called his reraise. If somebody is going to reraise there you have to start thinking about a set.

Did he have K7???

I'm knocking his raise more than a min raise, think to 2 straight. If he reraises me he mighth have 67, I guess, but something like a good king (AK/KQ) is unlikely, (especially no AK due to lack of pfr) so I guess I would give him credit for K7. (If he comes over) That means I have 2 outs. Not good. It's also possible he has a set, which would make 7s the most likey, so you still have 2 outs. Anyways, I'd do more than a min raise, (so if he is betting somrhthing like 89 he has to pay in full) and yes, drop it if you're reraised.

hands are much more difficult to play when you min raise. min raising twice in one hand makes hands very very tough to play.

opponents react to min raises in two very opposite ways. some see it as a sign of weakness, and basically disregard the fact that it is a raise. some see it as a sign of extreme strength. so when he raises you back, are you supposed to assume that he thinks you are weak or strong? there is no way to know without a huge read. now you are in a quandry. This is just one reason min raising is bad.

I agree with BK! You should have raised more right from the start! That would have weeded out most of the weak hands.

Well. I don't like the pansy minraise on the flop, you should be the one to make it $3.00 to go on the first raise, If he comes over the top big and he's not a moron. You can think of laying ti down. The way your hand played out, I fold to the 4th raise.
