Ultimate Bet 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

For the past 2 months, 1/2 has been a total grind for me, making only 0.42 BB/100 in the last 10,000 hands. Because of this, I think there are sometimes I might get a little gunshy, I'm just not sure that this is one of those times for a value bet in this case.....

Preflop: Gomez22 is MP2 with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, Gomez22 raises, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players)
UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, Gomez22 bets, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
UTG+2 checks, Gomez22 bets, UTG+2 calls.

River: (6.75 BB) K/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
UTG+2 checks, Gomez22 checks.

Final Pot: 6.75 BB
Main Pot: 6.75 BB, between UTG+2, Gomez22 and UTG.

Bet the river. If someone had a flush they would have raised you on the turn. Don't be scared of the K on the turn.

part of me thinks this is a weak play, and part of me likes it (and I probably play it the same way). I think it depends on your read of UTG+2 -- if he'll call here w/ a worse Q or middle pair, you need to bet. If there's no way he's staying in without a K or a flush, all betting does is give him an opportunity to check-raise.

aggieland, eh? be gentle to the Buffs

(if you're referring to aggies that aren't at Texas A&M or aren't a football fan, don't bother reading this /images/graemlins/smile.gif)

Normally, that's my line and reasoning here, but this was kinda early on in the session, and I tend to be a touch conservative until I get some type of feel for players & table type....

I live about half a mile from campus. I'm actually surprised that we've won the last 5 games. We busted the top 25 rankings after our win over #15 OK St. last week.

Absolute must bet on the river. Not close.
