This is a pretty common situation, where have a big pocket pair but an overcard hits. After no one shows any aggression, do you bet the river, or check through worrying about a weak ace?

I find myself in this situation a lot too. I would say check through here. An 8, ace or 4 will call or raise. A flush draw or gutshot will fold. If no 4 on the turn I will gladly value bet.

Since there's 3 opponents left I would check. If it was heads up I would bet. or maybe even if there was 2 left if you know them to be calling stations. Maybe my thinking is weak though and it's worth a value bet here into three, I honestly don't know either action is a close call I feel.
