I had a read that I forgot about in the heat of this hand, which is that SB loves to bluff the river. Still, it's two back to me... bad fold?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
2 folds, UTG+2 calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, Hero raises, 2 folds, SB (Overplayer) calls, BB calls, UTG+2 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (10 SB) 5/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (5 players)
Overplayer checks, BB checks, UTG+2 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, Overplayer calls, BB calls, UTG+2 calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (7.50 BB) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif (5 players)
Overplayer checks, BB checks, UTG+2 checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, Overplayer calls, BB folds, UTG+2 calls, MP2 calls.

River: (11.50 BB) 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)
Overplayer bets, UTG+2 calls, MP2 raises, Hero folds, Overplayer folds, UTG+2 folds.

Final Pot: 15.50 BB
Main Pot: 14.50 BB, won by MP2.
Pot 2: 1 BB, returned to MP2.

Hand 2. I'd seen SB raise JJ out of the small blind and play it well, so my read was that he's decent. My plan was to get to a showdown cheaply here if I didn't improve after the flop, but I never got the chance....

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
1 fold, Hero raises, UTG+2 calls, MP1 3-bets, 4 folds, SB calls, 1 fold, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls.

Flop: (13 SB) A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, UTG+2 raises, MP1 3-bets, SB calls, Hero folds....

hand 1, if mp2 is at all tricky I call, otherwise I curse the gods and fold

hand 2, after a bet a call and a raise, I dont think mp1 is going to 3 bet with anything less than an A, and any ace he 3 bet preflop with beats yours, so I think its a good fold.

I think I raise the SBs flop bet tho, I find it hard to believe anyone cold called you with a 2, SB likely has an A, but yours is better, and if MP1 has an underpair hes getting close to good enough odds to chase it, or just call with lone big diamond, the pot is pretty big so I wanna increase my chance of winning it.

I'd be sorely tempted to call the second one... your outs are slim if you're behind, which you might not be, but I'd say that it's worth seeing if you improve on the turn. Obviously your implied odds are through the roof here.

his implied odds arnt really that good, if someone does have a 2, hes got to hit an ace, and if he does hes likely splitting and he isnt going to get any action from the guy holding the 2. Theres also the flush draw on the board, so he doesnt even have 3 full J outs. His backdoor flush draw he cant play aggresively if he hits it because the board is paired. He could also just be drawing completely dead. No matter what cards come hes never going to make alot of bets up in this hand.

TY Alobar. I figured I was outkicked in hand 2, but not by MP1.

As it turned out, I would have sucked out for a chop, but of course the fold was still good.
