Acronyms

Is there some reason, other than brevity, that most everyone refers to books only by their acronym?

If this is the only reason, would some of you be so kind as to add a few of the acronyms and their meanings to this link so that the less clever of us might know what books you are referring to. Thanks

WLLH = WINNING LOW LIMIT HOLD EM by Lee Jones

HPFAP or HEFAP = Hold Em For Advanced Players

SSH or IT = Small Stakes Hold Em by Ed Miller

SS or S/S = Super System

thats the ones from the top of my head

Yes, but IT = SSH. It began as a joke when people got so hyped about the release of SSH that they started calling SSH "it." ITH is not the same book as IT.
