Low limit stud in Vegas?

Can anyone enlighten me as to the low-limit seven card stud scene in Las Vegas? I'll be staying at the MGM Grand from March 14th to the 17th, and was curious as to what poker rooms people here would suggest. (I'm planning on staying on the Strip, so downtown casinos are not really an option.)


The limits I am interested in are 4-8, 5-10, and possibly 6-12. Which rooms spread which limits?


Also, what are the structures of these games? I'm used to playing 5-10 in AC ($0.50 ante, $2 bring in, 1st raise completes bet to $5.) Is the structure the same in Vegas?


Also, are there any seven card stud (not hi-lo) tournaments that take place on Fridays or Saturdays? I haven't been able to find any.

You can play 4-8 at the Bellagio and 5-10 at the Mirage. Both games have a $0.50 ante and a $1 bring-in.


The Mirage also has 10-20 and 20-40. The Bellagio has 15-30 and 30-60. I don't remember seeing anything in the 8-16 range.


The rest of the rooms only spread 1-5 stud (except in rare circumstances).
