Ok, I sucked out, or at least I think I did. Was planning on check-calling the flop, and I know I should've bet it instead. Bad check. That said, do I cap this river against his turned 22, or call against his limped AT?

i think I'd put in a 6th bet and call a 7th. he could have slowplayed AT i guess.

he could have A2 or a slowplayed Ax, TT often enough.

I was thinking that was your thinking as well. BUT because the flop was checked through, perhaps CO doesn't fear Ax anymore?

Suited diamond broadway cards not including A or T, or a PP.

He's either slowplaying a flopped monster, or still drawing. I doubt he's hooked on to a naked T, he would have bet the flop.

The only thing that beats you is AT. I would most definitely cap the river, what's another buck if he has the T?

You raise, he is probably excited about having 3 Aces to begin with. If he has the AT well that is it, but I think he is thinking his 3 Aces are good.

It depends, what kinda read do you have on the villian? He could have a pocket pair that hit the turn (2's) or something like KT when he feels he has the top kicker on his two pair. He didn't raise preflop from the CO, so I wouldn't put him on AT because of that, but that's hard to determine with no read.

Online this is the easiest cap ever. Live, it's a cap and curse if he 5-bets and is sane.

How often do heads-up unlimited raise situations come into play when playing 3/6 or 4/8 live poker? I've only played about 1000 hands live and have never even seen a heads-up river go to 4 bets.

I think you should cap here. His play is also consistent with Ax.

I think any Ace does. I also think any Ten does. They could be putting you on a steal just as easy as crediting you with an ace.

One time I saw it go a guy just call the sixth river bet with KKK99 and lose to 9999K.

PS-The guy was me.

Dunno how many hands I've played live, nor do I have any sense how many hours. But, I've been involved with more than 4 bets:

preflop-twice
flop-3 times
turn-once
river-once

The best was when sthief09 5-bet me on the flop once then checked the turn and said, "I'll take my free card now." He had unimproved AK. I had bottom pair. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I've been the guy with 7777K going a total of about 20 bets on the turn and river nailing some guy's KKK77.

PS, you missed 2 bets.

It doesn't take much to realize how terribly you misplayed a hand.

Bet the flop, raise the turn (??), cap the river.

I think I missed 2 bets overall, maybe 3. Ugggggggggly. Villain had 22 and I really should've capped the river.
