Here's the deal:
Joe is a dirty Pats fan, and I love the Jets. These two teams are the best in the AFC (at least in the loss column) and they are playing this week in Foxboro. Therefore, I asked Joe for a friendly wager. We've decided to share it with you because...well here it is:
If the Jets win:
-Joe pays me $50 ($25 of which he kind of owes me)
-I get two 1 hour sessions with Joe sweating/playing with/tutoring me at 5/10.
-I am Joe's daddy.
If the Pats win:
-No money exchanges hands and the $25 he kind of owes me is forgiven.
-I change my avatar for one week or 25 legitimate posts (whichever takes longer) to any avatar he chooses. The only stipulation is it can't be somethingobscene that could get me banned.
-I have to buy Joe a Red Sox/Pats trinket. Something of small value, maybe something he can use to protect his cards.

You right click on the thread in flat mode and get it's properties.
The best thing about that thread is if Joe just takes one from there (which we know he's read) that's just lame.

I'm a pessimist but I don't think the Jets have much of a chance /images/graemlins/frown.gif despite their record and the way they've been playing (aside from the 49ers game) I just feel like they aren't as good as they've been playing...
also I remember IMing you last night but you'll have to tell me what was said because I'm trying to rehash my night last night. no one seems to know what happened or where we went or any of that

I'd be happy to bet a parlay of Kerry and the Sox winning if someone wants to give me some action (I will risk no more than $20 but I will do something embarrassing).

what did you have in mind? i like the Sox to win, but Kerry is a loser, and will prove it Nov.2, baby. i'm so confident, i'll bet against the Sox and go with the Cards if i must.
