It has been forever since I played the 15/30 at Canterbury Park, haven't had time for the drive out there lately. Anyhow I was at the must move game for a long time, and I played with the most entertaining player I have ever played with. Krazy is his nickname, and he plays like it. Some of you may know who I'm talking about it, he caps with ten six then dark bets it on a flop that ended up being T62. I'm not complaining, by any means, I left almost a $1000 winner, but he left up about $2k. He knows how lucky he is and he is just there to have some fun, and everybody was having fun. It was a great game tonight as he had done a great job of loosening up the action.

Was anyone else there tonight? I was the kid with the patriots jersey on.

Yeah he does live up to his nickname. I have played several times with him at the 8/16 15/30 tables. He def.brings the action. He regularly has $1200 swings on the 8/16 tables. what night were you reffering to? I play there almost every day.

Yeah, I was there tonight. I got moved to the main game right before you were called for the must move. Krazy is definitely crazy, nice guy and great to have on your table. Nice win tonight.

I was next door in the $30/60 stud/8 game.

Krazy's a lot of fun.

I heard they had a stud/8 game going, I've played 5/10 online quite a bit and have won there, but I didn't want to just jump into a 30/60 game. Do they ever have smaller stud/8 games? I don't think I have seen one for a long time.

They will have $4/8 and $6/12, but they haven't had either for quite a few months. There are a few people who would rather play it $15/30 than $30/60, but most of these guys want to play $30/60, so that's what we play. Depending on the lineup, the $30/60 game can probably be about as juicy as your on-line game. Thursday's game wasn't anything special, but there are some wonderful action players who play it. But you need to have a decent bankroll and a strong stomach. It can be quite disheartening to put in $780 on a draw and then miss, as one of my opponents did on Thursday.

I also play in a $40/80 home game that's half stud/8 and half hold'em. That's some good, clean fun. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have the bankroll for it as I regularly play hold'em at these limits, I think it would be a psychological thing though still, even though the game may be as juicy as an online game. I'd rather start at say 10/20 anyhow, 6x the limits that I am used to for that game is a bit steep of a jump I think.

As for the disheartening part, I play stud/8 a lot online, as well as omaha/8 and omaha, and some very limited razz, if I'm not drunk then it doesn't get to me.
