Paradise $1/2 9 handed loose passive

UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 raises,
I have 9c9d and call, button calls, both blinds
call, MP1 calls, MP2 calls
7 players

Flop-- 5c6s7c

checked to MP3 who bets, I raise, button calls, SB folds
BB calls, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 calls.
4 players

Turn-- 5s6c7s Qd

checked to me I bet all call

river-- 5s6c7s Qd Js
4 players

checked to me, I check, button checks

Is this how you would play it pre and post flop? I know
that in SSHE it advocates calling with any pocket pair
as long as two people beside the raiser enter the pot, but
I don't know if that means just two cold callers or two
pre raise limpers. Oh please, help me.

I like the way you played this hand pretty much through and through. Even though you're beat some of the time (were you this time?), I think your turn bet is a must, because you can't afford to give free cards to AK. If you get 3-bet on the flop, I think you need to lay your hand down UI on the turn.

When you've got 7 players seeing the flop, 99 is a GREAT hand to have. It'll work out much better than this more often than it doesn't.

Yea, I was beat. The pre flop raiser had KK. Thanks
for the help.
