You are getting 11.5:5, so calling is profitable. Still, this is a crying call.

Do you think you will win this hand 8% of the time given any read you have on the player? If no read I would call. This is 0.50/1. He may just have a K.

I'm a little confused.

Actually, that was why I made the post. Folding never entered my mind. I called.

But thinking of it afterwards I think 3-betting would be better. What can he have? Not capping the flop or check-raising the turn with a 7 is ridiculus. And check-raising with two overcards and a backdoor flush draw is definitly more agressive than average (and a player that agressive would raise PF). Raising the river just looks like an automatic scare card raise...

He turned out to have pocket queens.

What a weird way to play QQ, I put him on a backdoor flush somehow or 44

I'd think something like 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif9/images/graemlins/spade.gif.. or the Gus Hansen special 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif8/images/graemlins/spade.gif. Boy do I hate that hand.

This is the easiest river call you will ever have.

I've seen people with 89 try to bluff me off a pot. K-x might try this as well. Yes, you will to a flush sometimes, or a 7, but you will win 1-11

I don't buy the flush, or the set. I 3-bet this.
