Good BR for $1/$2 6max

Hey all I plan on moving up from 50c/$1 to the $1/$2 6max tables at Party.

I'm wondering what a good bankroll is as the higher variance would probably mean that the 300BB recommendations for full ring games might be a bit low.

I have also been on a very good run over 5k hands and am fearing some bad luck in the near future.

Should I aim for at least 400BB or 500BB bankroll or more?

Don't fear bad luck thats a silly idea even if you are runnning good. Moveup to 1/2 when you hit 300BB just move back down to 50c/$1 if you drop 100BB.

300BB is definitely sufficient to move up to 1/2 SH. I've made the transition just recently, and once you get over the small differences its not so bad (bring out that inner LAG ). I dropped 50BB while adjusting and then went on a 175BB upswing.

Thanks, after a successful first session my inner LAG got the better of me(mainly the loose part).

Anyway I tightened up and now the results are pretty good so far.

The players sure are weak.
