The possible WSOB matchups provide a lot of sentimental angles:
1. RedSox finally winning one;
2. Killer B's with Clemens finally going to World Series;
3. Cards with classy vets such as Edmonds and Walker who have not had a championship (plus, its ALWAYS great to see such a classy franchise in the WS).
1 + 2 provides the most utility; meaning RedSox over Astros would be ideal. Close second would be RedSox over Cardinals - such a historic matchup (and makes us purists tremble).
Consolation:
Kevin Brown v. Julian Tavarez in a bare-knuckle, boxing match. (Coincindentally, both are brick-heads, so aim for the body).
