First try at Party 1/2 and I was wondering about this hand. Should I have capped the flop? Was calling the raise and re-raise on the turn right?

I would be putting as many chips as possible into the pot.

Without a read on MP2 it is difficult to say. Personally, I think 2 pair is one of the toughest hands for us (2+2ers) because when we get it, it usually leaves mega possibilities for all the fish, particularly straight draws.

My guess is that the other player had one pair on the flop and got the second pair when the A fell, or more probably, completed his straight draw. Just my thoughts.

I really want to fold this on the turn. you are not closing the action and this could get expensive to call down. I'm not sure how this action doesn't scream Aces up.

i would probably try to bet/3bet this flop. the check-raise lets CO get out of the hand.

you should strongly consider folding the turn when it's two bets back to you. you just check-3-bet the flop and now you're facing a raise and a re-raise on the turn after a scary looking card falls? FOLD.
