NLHE Rebuy tonight. 9PM ET. $10 entry, $10 for rebuys (when at or under T1500), $10 for add-on (T2000). For purposes of scoring, I will be counting this as a $30 buyin event, like all the other HE events. This one should be a lot of fun. Put all KotZ 15 related posts here.

I put the over/under on # of Re-buys by Lori at 4.

I, on the other hand, will re-buy at least 10 times ala D. Negraneau, and get knocked out on the bubble.

Ok, time to throw down the gauntlet:

$10 Last Longers for:

1)Last Klingon standing - for the glory of the Empire! batlh Daqawlu'taH!

2)Last female

3)Cubswin (just because you're cute) /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Just let me know before we start playing if you are in.

I've been getting close to cracking into the top ten for the season and today feels like it will be the day.

I normally post in the sng forum so please forgive my ignorance. How do I get in on the KotZ game. I assume it is at ps. However is it a regular tourney? private? if so could you list the password? any other details?

Thanks,

Ryan

This should be interesting, and probably expensive. Hopefully we can get a decent turnout this time around.

Easy call here - I take the Under. Sadly I still have to work at ridiculous o'clock tomorrow so I won't be playing but I'm looking forward to rejoining the fray next month - Good Luck All

Jedi,

Sure, I love donating to you. However, if you keep doing LL bets with me, you won't need to work anymore!

I have PMed you the password. It's on Stars. Go to the Tourney and then Private tab. It stands out against the other private tourneys as it is highlighted in blue (we're so special /images/graemlins/cool.gif).

I suck /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Couldn't catch too many cards. Lost half my stack with A8o when I raised from sb and eMark came over the top in bb. I figured steal and pushed and his AQ was good. I lost the rest of my stack with A8o in BB when Steeser raised unopened pot from sb and I pushed and his 77 was good.

I guess A8o kinda sucks?

Out 20th.

Call a standard rasie from DrSavage with 7d7c.

Flop is 7-high with 2 diamonds. We get all-in.

He had JdJx - I think you can see where this is going.

Wow, after being short stacked all night, I was somewhat surprised to make the money and even more surprised to finish 2nd. Great game guys.

The last hand I had AQ vs. her A7. Flop came 456 I think and that's when the money went in. With plenty of outs, she hit a 7 on the turn meaning I was drawing to a Q or a split pot with a 3 or 8 which never came. I'll take the 2nd place and move up in the standings /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Plenty of short-stacked suckouts to help propel me up there. Woohoo!

Thanks. Good game to all and a fun time as usual.

I had a good feeling about tonight, and got lucky at the right times.

Of course, this is the one time that no one picked up on my last longer challanges. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Congrats AA! Well done.

That was definately one of the most fun games this year. It was so loose! I will bet that at least 3 people per table were seeing over 20% of the flops!

Ed: I just make bad, bad calls. Live and learn.

so who was Molly?

Congrats AAmazon. I got knocked out in 4th with TT against your KK.

I felt like I played really well all night, and at the final table was executing a lot of resteals. When my final hand went down I had just stolen when you raised my blind, and I thought you were doing the same thing on me, so I pushed and you had KK.

mrbaseball

Strange? At first the games were very very very tight. Everyone wanted to look good and didn't want to make a mistake. Then things started loosening up a bit and people started making many more "plays". Then things got wildly aggressive with moves on top of moves and re-re-resteals becoming the norm.

Last night (until I got knocked out anyway) it seemed to have reverted to ultra tight and wait. Deeper stacks due to rebuy structure could have added to this. But it's interesting to see how the play has evolved from month to month in these things. No matter what way tougher than the typical schlubs that populate most online tournies.

Congrats to AAmazon on the other cashers!

I think this is a great example of how these tournaments are different from the run of the mill tournaments I play. I can actually attempt moves that would never work on other players. Steeser's might not have tried as many resteals against some "by the book" type players, but here it was worth more of a shot knowing that we can lay down marginal hands to re-raises.

I was lucky enough to mimic a stop and go twice against Steeser. The first time, I called in the blind with A3s and flopped Ace King blank. I pushed and he called with Queens, believing I was pulling a stop-n-go with 8s. Luckly for me, he was a little gun shy when I pulled the same move with 8s on a later hand when an Ace hit the flop. (Whew). No way I'd try that against calling stations.

Everyone played really well. I'm always looking forward to a tough game when I play in 2+2 tournaments.

for eM I guess.

On the KOTZ web page, are the overall standings the results from all this season's tourneys, or are they for the best ten for each player?

Is it best ten you're doing the final standings from? I don't remember rightly.

I feel like the queen of the world.

well you are certainly queen of the last 2 tourneys. 2nd in TJ and 1st in KOTZ.

i say we ban her from all future events!
