Would it be possible to win simply playing
PocketPairs and AKs?
Not even AKo!

Or would your wins be cancelled out by blinds?
Or would pple at this level actually catch on and fold?

On Low stakes Party Poker, yes. I think you'd have to actually play your big blind though so you don't completely lose your blinds.

Why not? Most of the equity of AK, suited or not, comes from hitting a pair. Is that not sufficient, short by exactly the amount of equity from hitting flushes?

I can see why you would want to rule out AQ in fear of running into kicker trouble. However, do play AKo, if you ever carry out this obviously sub-optimal experiment /images/graemlins/smile.gif

10 max you could probably beat the rake, by a little, if you switched tables a lot.
