. . . every time the Yankees came into town, I'd get them back for those "1918" signs by holding up ones that said "2004."

7th inning and everyone in Yankee stadium is chanting "Who's your Daddy." DOWN 8 to 1. Yankee fans are too oblivious to taunt.

You may be right.

But . . .

While it's been a long time for the Sox, it will be basically forever (or never) before any team does something as horrific as what the Yankees just accomplished (if that it the correct word). I mean what's your worst nightmare? You're leading 3 games to love and leading in the 9th inning of game 4. And you lose. Not just the game, the series. Add in that you were leading by two runs in the 8th inning of game 5 and had the winning run at the plate in the 9th inning of game 6, and I just can't imagine there being anything that could top it.

They've been playing the Series since 1903. I think once in a hundred years is about the over/under mark.

you'll get over it Andy, it's way worse for the players then it is for the fans. Just reflect on how amazing a series it was and move on, otherwise you become a red sox fan.

The signs should say "2000"--the Yankees haven't won a World Series since the previous millennium! The Curse has been reversed, Yankees won't win another title in our lifetimes.

Torre said he thought the series, like last year, would be an emotional roller coaster. Little did he know it would be so steep and have only one change in direction.

The curse can't have been reversed until the Sox manage to win a World Series.
