When FunnyCide was going for the Triple Crown, the whole country was behind him, rooting for him to win. He lost, and for some reason, we felt that we needed something like that to lift our spirits. That's what this country needs now.. For the sox to trounce the Yanks tonight, and go on to win the World Series.

I cheer for two teams. The Texas Rangers and whoever plays the New York Yankees. I just hate them, as should everyone who is not from New York. Not only would it be sweet for the Yankees to be sent home, but it would be infinitely more sweet for the BoSox to make history while doing it.
