No player reads of any kind included? You make this sound like a card game.

[ QUOTE ]

88

Flop: raise or call?

[/ QUOTE ]

I like the raise. It should get rid of unpaired overcards in such a small pot. It also helps you form a plan against BB if he 3-bets, smooth-calls C/R's the turn or whatever. Beware of that 32! No, actually don't. I just happened to lose a biggish pot with 88 against 32 a couple weeks ago. You have a good hand here that's vulnerable against multiple opponents. I wish every time I got 88 I could take the pot down on the flop.

[ QUOTE ]

J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif.

preflop: fold or call?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you made the right decision. EP raise and only one cold-call to you out of position? I don't think its even that hard a decision.

AT

flop: check or bet? .............. and after he raises: call or fold?

You got the pot heads up. You have to bet. You were the aggressor preflop. When he raises, I think you peel one off. You're getting 7.5-1. There's not much you can do here in terms of counting outs head-up, since you might still have the best hand, but there are quite a few turn cards that will help your hand.

[ QUOTE ]
Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
river: showdown or bet?

[/ QUOTE ]
Why not bet? He hasn't shown any strength yet. Do you think he's checking and calling a small flush here? Worry about a C/R if and when it comes, but worse hands will call you here often enough.

[ QUOTE ]
Preflop: Hero is UTG with A/images/graemlins/club.gif, J/images/graemlins/heart.gif.

oh the errs of multi-tabling.

[/ QUOTE ]

Doesn't look that bad from here. You didn't give excessive action to a better hand, and got to showdown with your maybe, maybe not aces-up.

[ QUOTE ]

Preflop: Hero is Button with T/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/heart.gif.

boring, i know, but no overcards = bet ... right?

[/ QUOTE ]
Seems like a good policy. If somebody starts playing back at you hard, you might slow down, might not, it depends. How about 'no overcards, no resistance, bet?' Same for one overcard too, really.

[ QUOTE ]
Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/club.gif.
Final Pot: 5.25 BB

after he called my turn bet i knew he had an A. i wasn't sure if he had one after he called me on the flop. was my turn bet and showdown on the river okay?

[/ QUOTE ]

If his calling your turn bet made you know he had an ace, the only possible reason you'd have for betting is to try to get him to fold an ace. Since that is not likely in a short-handed pot, sure checking it down is fine.
