This question is specificially for the 100nl 6max games on party (or i guess elsewhere too). I do pretty well in these games (about 6bb/100 hands 4tabling), but I think I might be open raising with a few too many hands. Right now if its folded to me in the cutoff or on the button I'll raise with like A8, JQ, etc. Is this too loose. What are the weakest hands you guys would raise with here? I know the question is table-dependant, but assume a typical table. Thanks

No this is not too loose. In fact I hear people saying to open raise with everything on the button and bet the flop because you'll show a profit immediatly against passive players.

Be a 'lil more selective in the CO though.

I'm still a newbie at 6-max games but I'd say 10% PRF would be a nice target and then you can start raising more or less depending on your skill/the table/etc. What are you at?

I'm sure someone out there disagrees with me?

This is highly table dependent. 6max is also more maniac than full so you get called down on your bluffs more often.

I don't like playing A8 even in 6 max but maybe I'm too tight.
