I'm not trying to replace the written word, i've read
everything (well, practically everything ) published by 2+2
and a couple other non 22er's (inferior, of course). But it
never hurts to address more than one learning style,
thought i would try some poker inst. via the tube. Any reco's from y'all? Thanks

Search here for posts on Howard Lederer's DVDs - they've been fairly well received. I wish Netflix would get them so I could check 'em out. FWIW, Netflix does have "Masters of Poker: Vol. 1: Phil Hellmuth's Million Dollar Poker System". Sounds like it might be worth a few laughs. They also have Poker for Dummies.

Mike Caro's poker tell videos are great...they take stuff in the book and put a much better face on it.
but it's not the ultimate in poker tho...I think pros do DVD's to avoid having to spend months writing a book (or as TJ/McEvoy did, dictate it and transcribe the conversations) - so I'm not impressed with them.
I'm sure a Howard L. book would be a lot more useful/informative then what can be condensed into a 2 hr. dvd.
