My first 50 dollar MTT. Curious after sweating a couple.

First break with 3715.

K /images/graemlins/spade.gif K /images/graemlins/club.gif in MP. I have 5485, UTG has 5901, SB has 12380. Blinds 150/300.

UTG raises to 600, I reraise to 1200, SB calls and UTG calls.

Flop comes 2 /images/graemlins/club.gif 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif.

SB bets 300, UTG folds.

What's my move?

The money starts at 60th and there are 61 people still in it. The blinds are 400/800. A guy at my table with a 9xBB stack pushes in LMP with AJ and gets called by the large stack big blind with AQ. No luck for AJ man and he busts out.

Meanwhile, on another table Enon07 is sitting in UTG+1 with 460 chips and makes it to 57th.


I busted out 58th.

Thanks, I am getting blinded to death.

I see AJ in the BB. Late position limps and SB raises to 3100 with blinds at 400/800. I have a little over 6k, but decide to pass it up since I have no fold equity.

I now have 5385 with 46 left and blinds at 500/100. Yikes.

3 big hands.

AA in the BB folds to SB who completes. I raise to 3X BB (stupid) and he folds.

AQs in MP, all in, get called right after me by shorter stack. He has JJ and I never improve.

Right after this I have 3X BB and I'm UTG. Pick up JJ, and push. One shortstack late position caller who has 1k, and the SB and BB both call. Dammit! Flop comes K92. Check check. 8. Check check. 9. Check check. Shortstack had KK, for king's full. But I drag in the main pot going up again AQ and 66. Sweet!

Out in 29th. So shortstacked, I push on the button after CO big stack limps. I have QJo, been seeing no cards, and I hope my cards are live.

I flop top pair, but the turn brings a king. Big stack was playing K5 and I'm gone.
