There's still another ball game going on, and this game could decide a NLCS. Top of the 9th...

Unbelievable game!!

Brad Lidge is real good. That Backe wasn't half bad either.

Somehow I feel like I missed most of one of the best playoff games ever.

The Astros are comming up impressive.

Can they do it. One man on bottom of the ninth.

Lidge is fantastic.. reminds me of Gagne, and no other closer does that.

Manufacturing runs. NL teams tend to do it very well.. And Beltran's really looking for that extra base. He'll probably get it.

MrGo
10-18-2004, 11:20 PM
Beltran needs to steal here

Single wins the game. Beltran does it.

MrGo

Jeff Kent does it!!!! Congradulations to the Astros.

Baseball is a great game and two classic games were played tonight.

He crushed that ball.

This is why you need a real closer. (Gagne, Lidge, Nathan, Rivera, etc.) Isringhausen sucks.

Houston *had* to win this game. I think the series is about 50/50 now, maybe slightly leaning in the Astros' favor, but not much.

I told Clarky they would rock them with home runs.

Aren't the Stros pitching some sort of Clemens/Oswalt combination in 6 and 7? I don't you have a good chance of winning back to back games, but the Cardinals are still a damn good team.

I agree GoT. I'd say Houston still has only a 25% chance of winning the series.

They should pitch Munro on Wed and a fully rested Clemens for game 7

You are half right. They should pitch Munro and save Clemens for Game 1.
