I was in NO for a getaway weekend with the missus. Wasn't planning to play but she insisted that I have a go at the 3-6 hold 'em table. I allowed myself to be persuaded to give in.
Bought in for a rack of whites, cashed in two racks two hours later. I had some luck - two pair turned into a boat on the river to beat a flopped boat, A5s made a flush, and KJo became a K-high flush when the river showed the fourth diamond - beat a Q-high with that one. Against that, I got my AA cracked by a little old lady who played 8-10 offsuit and flopped 6-7-9. And yes I raised pre-flop.
These guys played all kinds of crap and chased relentlessly. It was even softer than my home game. I've seen it repeatedly on this forum that live play is softer than online, but damn!
