2 baseball games on tonight, but my copies of The Theory of Poker and Play Poker Like the Pros just arrived.

What to do, what to do...

OMG, you did not just ask this question.

Neil Stevens

Well if the Dodgers were still in it, it wouldn't be close, but...

Why dont you just read a few hundred pages between each pitch? Baseball is so slooooooow...

I can't wait for The Dude to freak out in reply. Maybe he will take out the rest of his SaltCracka rage on me /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

You're not bitter about the dollar with your name on it hanging on my wall, are you?

HAHA, YOU ARE SUCH A LOSER!

The Dude

A loser? No sir. The 43rd bill on my wall is the ThaSaltCracka dollar you will be mailing me. To date, nobody has a Dude dollar.

2+2'ers that have fallen so far... GuyOnTilt, NL Soldier, ThaSaltCracka, LivingLegend, and CatchOfTheDay. I have current bets with Tosh and Schneids.

ThaSaltCracka

no offense, The Dude, but you came three outs away from being 30 dollars poorer, so if I were you, that dollar should truely be a reminder of how lucky and stupid you are.

[/ QUOTE ] I will admit, this is funny though. I almost had 30 of them though.

The Dude

It's too bad you can't hang "almost" on your wall.

ThaSaltCracka
10-18-2004, 05:31 PM
Its to bad I am not a huge nerd that hangs dollar bills on my wall from people I have never met before. I am sure the stories you tell about said dollars are only interesting to you.

The Dude

Don't get mad just because my wallpaper is better than yours.

ThaSaltCracka

I don't have wallpaper.

Haha, No I'm not bitter at all. I did not realize that you have so many dollars from people, do you always have to give rediculous odds in their favor like you did for me and apperently SaltCracka...

The Dude
10-18-2004, 06:37 PM
No, but my main concern when seeking a $1 bill is winning the bet, not the odds I have to place to get the bet.

ThaSaltCracka
10-18-2004, 06:39 PM
the odds were in my favor in his bet.

If win, he pays me 30, he wins I pay him 1

Watch the baseball games, burn Play Poker Like the Pros just for fun, and read TOP later.

I knew at least one person would call for burning Hellmuth. I foolishly never expected that the Yankees vs the World rivalry would spill out in here, though.

ThaSaltCracka

I agree, his book is worthless.

Neil Stevens

I went with Hellmuth for tournament play and an overview of a bunch of games. If Super System 2 or Harrington's tournament book were out, I'd have gotten those instead.

ThaSaltCracka
10-18-2004, 07:25 PM
doesn't 2+2 have a tourney book?

ThaSaltCracka

naw, I play poker, but not as much as most of the people in here. I tend to avoid a lot of the forums because they usually don't provide me with a lot of NEW information.

I was under the impression that 2+2 Hold'em books are focused on limit. Of course, I could be mistaken.

ThaSaltCracka

yeah, but I think a lot of the core concepts still apply to NL.
