Yes I have seen it before. Doesn't make it any less funny. What I haven't seen the the Red Soz win a series, now that would be something.

You are confusing series with World series, because they won a a playoff series this year.

Apparently you don't watch much Baseball. There were several away games where the Red Sox had more fans in the stands than the home team. And even in rabid cities like NY, you'll find a good % of Sox fans. So there are a lot of us out there who are amused.
