Sorry, city boy here.

Can someone tell me what I'm looking at?

This looks like one of those motion sensitive remote cameras. No way a dear and a cougar are hanging around with some Natonal Geographic crew.

leave me alone Neil.

If its real its really cool, if its fake, its a cool fake /images/graemlins/grin.gif

No kidding. It's moving, and the picture was taken at night. Night time pictures are taken with a longer exposure time. It's going to be blurry.

Agreed, I've seen pictures like this before, I see anything to tell me it's a fake though.

it was purportedly taken with motion sensing camera set up by the Forest Service. It might be fake but please explain why you think so.

I don't even think it's that amazing of a photograph. Last night, I watched some show on Animal Planet and thow showed one jaguar take down two bigger animals within a couple minutes.

Animals don't live to be full grown adults by being bad hunters.

Dang, wish I saw it. Jaguars are cool and you don't see much footage of them.

They were water buffalo crossing a stream. There was a whole herd of them. The cat waited, caught one of them, and choked it out. Then, rather suddenly, it jumped at another and took that one down too.

Big cat hunting kicks ass.

Here's one of those motion camera pictures of a jaguar. Not really impressive until you find out it is in Southern Arizona. http://www.azstarnet.com/ss/2004/10/19/l44062-1.jpg

Here's the article (http://www.azstarnet.com/sn/wildlife/44062.php)

I just didn't see a reference to the source, or where it came from. If it's real, then it's really cool. On the internet though, I tend to think otherwise unless the source is cited.

Those motion cameras must scare the crap out of the animals when that flash goes off.
