Texas Hold'em Chip Value Question...

I am hosting a tourny this Sunday. I just got some nice chips but I don't know what the value for each chip should be... I have 150 red, 150 white, 100 blue, 50 black, and 50 green. What should the value of the chips be and how many should each person get? I want there to be enough chips to at most seat 8 people.
