S&G questions

I am sorry about asking these questions because I know that they have been answered before, I just can't find them because the search function on this board is terrble. Anyway, I am a ring game player and I wanted to dabble in some S&G's using my Stars bonus. So, on stars....

When it says ($5.00 + $0.50) What does the $.50 stand for? Do pay $5 bucks to sit and $.50 as a rake to them? or...?

What is 4 player match hold'em? (what is the "match" part?)
What is Turbo NL hold'em? (Turbo? as in fast?)

The second (smaller) number in the buy-in is the rake.

A 4-player match is a 2-table heads-up tournament.

In Turbo tourneys the blinds go up twice as fast.

Some hints when using the search function:

* Use a + sign in front of all words (meaning that all of those words have to be in the result)

* Use quotes if searching for a phrase (e.g. "AK in BB")

* Select the relevant forum(s)
