lacky pointed me to this site when he saw the thread about that Dell computer plus TWO of these monitors for $1594 shipped. That 40% off deal came and went yesterday, but today this monitor-only one and some other monitor-plus-system nes that were $500 off came up today. Seems like a good place to check...but the deals tend to wear off in the afternoon or early afternoon, depending where you live. I actually tried to get in on a deal today and yesterday both, but the Dell site is so incredibly slow that the coupon expired in mid-order! Next time I'll check earlier.

It's funny -- Dell can take the coupon midway through the order process, then don't tell you they're rejecting it, leaving you with the full price instead.

It's also $679 at Dell Home with free shipping and no sales tax for most locations. Since Dell Small Business charges sales tax, this should wind up being a better deal for most.

I guess a good advice is to use the phone in these cases as the salesperson would have a hard time refusing you a deal as you are speaking to him/her on the phone. Ae these web based only deals?
