well, I don't like looking at it, but I would only change it if several people don't like it.

I say screw them and their lacking of a sense of humor.

EDIT: Actually, do change it. Change it to something much more offensive.

In this case it is. It's not like it's real. If I saw somebody actually do that, it wouldn't be funny.

I think offensive is probably the wrong word, because I am not offended by it, I just don't like it. Its sort of distubring though.

Things like that avatar have some shock value, good or bad depending on your sense of humor, the first few times you see them. After that, they are just annoying and unoriginal, like bumper stickers about what you would rather be doing. I'm not offended, I'm annoyed that the movement catches my eye, and I keep seeing the same old boring little thing repeated endlessly. It's like a kid who says something silly that gets a laugh, so he keeps repeating the silly thing endlessly until it becomes meaningless.

Careful, my original account got deleted because I had a cartoon picture of a spaceship for my avatar, and my username was 'challenger.' People are apparantely very sensitive around here.

i think animated avatars are offensive, but yours no more than any of the others.

It's tasteless.

You must be a prude if you think this is anywhere close to offensive.

As with most things in life, we can turn to maddox for his wisdom on the subject to find a solution.

It's not just "kicking an old person in the head."

It's a little old lady, clearly not real, being impressively karate kicked in the head by a guy dressed like he's in the Beastie Boys' video Sabotage.

It's funny.

People are waaaaaaay too sensitive.

Did someone's grandma get karate kicked by David Soul?

If so, I guess they can be "offended."
