View Full Version : ALCS Game 3 rainout?

It appears that a period of moderate/heavy rain will move through the Boston area Friday evening, and a rainout is likely.

If game 3 is rained out, the 3 fenway games would be played Sat-Mon, and the Red Sox would go with Arroyo for game 3, Wakefield for 4, and Pedro on full rest for game 5.

Schilling will not pitch game 5, as his ankle was too sore to test, but he hasnt been ruled out for a later game in the series, (although it appears unlikely).

I would assume this would set up Lowe for game 6, and Arroyo for game 7 on 3 days rest. Thoughts?

the extra rest can only help out the NY bullpen even more. Don't worry about game 5, this one is over in 4.
