I was shortstacked in a tournament with 130 left and 80 getting paid. I had 3900 with the blinds being 300/600 or 400/800 with a 25 ante.
I get pocket 9s UTG+2
UTG limps, UTG+1 folds.
My action?

Pretty standard shortstacked push, IMO.

I agree because he is at 5.5 or 4 BB, depending on if it was 600 or 800.
But if he were more like 9XBB, would you wait a little more, being that he is in early position?

I'm probably pushing less than 10x in that spot. With 10x-15x, I'm limping if the table is passive, folding if it's too aggressive. With 15x+, I would probably make a standard 2.5x raise.

Yea, I ended up pushing...I'm pretty sure we were at 300/600.
UTG kind of surprised me when he called and turned up pocket tens, but I can see why he'd limp as pocket tens aren't a good UTG raising hand. But he could just as easily of had pocket 2's-8's in that situation.
I guess I had to take a shot somewhere, it just wasn't what I considered a great situation because there was someone already in the pot + a lot of people behind me to act.
