It is almost funny how badly people misplay their hands and get paid by me...

What is the point of this post?

My friend, you played it well. You got your money in with the best of it and the result was bad. Dont always consider the results but simply the best possible decision. If you had won the hand would you honestly have posted it here i bet that you have forgotten about it after your session. Tough beat, get over it. Relax make sure that it doesn't affect your game, dont go on TILT and simply play your best game over and over.

Of course you are right.

But immediately posting the game here has some calming effect and keeps me from going on tilt. Mostly because I see the funny side of it and then realize it is only a matter of time before I get it back.

Incidentally, a little later I limped with 66, late position raise to $2, BB calls, I call. Flop comes Qd 3c 6d, BB goes all-in with $55 (!!!), I call, raiser ponders for a while and mucks. Iguess when the board finished off Qd 3c 6d 4s 4d he thought I got lucky, since BB had a powerful flush draw (8d2d). So, I got some money back.

But the point of the post is calming down. When I will get to the point where I can just shrugg it off without any further action, I will not abuse 2+2 anymore.

Until then, thanks for the reply.

Regards, Stephan

PS: We all know bad beats linger in our memory much longer than good hands won. When I forget the bad beat the second it happened I will have improved from a guy playing poker to a player. And then people better watch out...lol

Why? When you win you are playing with bets of "50", and when you lose you are playing with bets of "150". Of course that is not the whole truth, but it has a strategy effect, e.g a bully would do better with bets of "150".
