I think you're missing the point. Posts here don't show up with their own unique address in the address bar.

As I'm writing this, in my Tool Bar "Address" is this 2+2 "http://" Link. I assume you did not understand what I was trying to accomplish. I could have copied a link from another poker forum and placed it on your post. Out of respect for 2+2, I used their Link.
Now my question is, Did my instructions help you.?

Right click the subject you wish to link to and select "copy shortcut".

Go to the post where you wish to enter the link. At the bottom of the post select "URL". Script prompt drop down will appear. "Ctrl V" to enter the path, then select OK.

Script prompt drop down will appear again. Type in whatever title you wish to give this link. Good luck.

I would guess that was because your initial question was extremely vague.

I normally browse 2+2 in two windows: one is the "www.twoplustwo.com" page with a forum selected in the left frame and a list of threads in the right. The second window is a flat view of a single thread. With this setup, if I want to copy and paste a thread link, I just use the address bar.
