Do these real time sort of tools really help?

Think that they are required to be competitive online?

Any thoughts on which one is best and why?

Pokertracker is absolutely essential to be a big winner, especially with it's ability to observe games when I'm not in the computer at Party. Pokeroffice is has less features and statistics than Pokertracker but has the advantage of being easier to set up and use in my opinion. PokerInspector has been no help to me.
